Episode 5: Until The End Of Time

As time passes by, it can often feel like you’re getting nowhere – even when you’ve sat down and hacked at your work for hours on end.
For many of us, it can be quite disheartening to look up at the clock and realise that the hours have passed the the work level hasn’t raised substantially. To rub salt in the wound, it’s at these times that we feel our most burnt out. For many people this starts a downward spiral, making it more and more difficult to resume working and make headway.
Working is like doing mental gymnastics. We push and push ourselves, working towards the one outcome. No matter how much we wish it was otherwise, it’s impossible to sustain the required level of energy over long periods of time. We need breaks!
In this episode, we explore the idea of punctuated breaks and work cycles to help keep refreshed and focused. This includes instructions on the break length and how to implement them!
